NoteKeeper ยท Last updated 9 September 2026

NoteKeeper does not collect data from the app. The app has no accounts, no servers and no network code. Notes are stored locally in the app. Your device's backup settings may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup.

What the app stores

When you save a note, the app keeps exactly what you typed and chose on the note screen:

The app does not require an account or automatically collect your name, e-mail address, or device identifier. The app does not read your contacts, photos, location, calendar, microphone or camera, and it never asks for permission to do so.

Where it is stored

Notes are written to a local SQLite database file, notes.db, inside the app's private container on this device. That container is protected by iOS and is not readable by other apps. NoteKeeper does not upload, sync, or share notes with the developer or other users. We do not operate a server that receives your notes.

Apple's iCloud backup or a backup to your computer may include the app's data, depending on your device settings. These backups are controlled by you and Apple; the app developer cannot access them.

What the app does not do

Deleting your data

Open a note and use Delete Note (or the trash icon in the note's header) to remove that note and everything stored with it. Deleting the app from your device removes the app's local database. The app has no undo or recovery feature for deleted notes. Existing device backups may retain earlier copies; manage those backups through your Apple or computer backup settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
